I hold a Personal Chair in the Division of Psychology at the University of Stirling, Scotland, and am an Assistant Professor at the University of Wroclaw, where I lead the interdisciplinary Being Human Incubator of Scientific Excellence.
Between 2024 and 2032, I am leading an international project on maternal-infant olfactory communication, funded by a Wellcome Trust Discovery Award.
Between 2014 and 2021, I served as Vice-President and then President of the International Society for Human Ethology. I am now a Trustee.
